Jigsaw daytradr 2.1.0.3 - 64 Bit

Today we are releasing daytradr 2.1.0.3. It will be released in 64 bit  version only. We'd been releasing 32 bit because one of the APIs we support was only available in 32 bit (XTrader API). It's been phased out now, so we are releasing 64 bit. The downside of 32 bit apps is that they can only use a very limited amount of memory, so if you peak temporarily above a certain level - it won't be happy about it.

With the new features we'll be rolling out this year, there's no way we could prevent temporary peaks above the  limits of a 32 bit app. So for those on a 32 bit OS, which should be very few of you, you will need 64 bit OS after this release.

As 64 bit apps sit in a different set of folders on your PC.  You will be much better off uninstalling the 32 bit version first and then installing the 64 bit version. Then you won't get confused about which you are running. You will not lose any data, workspaces, connections or templates when you do that. Everything will be there when you start up.

In terms of the changes we've made in this release:

  • Reduced history requests for Rithmic - more changes will come later on this.
  • Added support for the new IQFeed 6.1.1.x.
  • Resolved issues with IQFeed pricing for Euro customers.
  • Resolved issues with Tradovate Replay not recognizing some new orders after reconnect.
  • Resolved issues with relfecting modified orders in Tradovate.
  • Resolved lag in placing strategy orders with Tradovate in fast markets.
  • Fixes to Interactive Brokers Market Depth Presentation (Stocks & Futures).
  • Enhancements to IB reconnect process.
  • Fixed Mapping between IQFeed and IB Symbols (so you can use IQFeed data to trade IB).
  • Memory clean up improvements - to reduce overall memory footprint.
  • Added support to allow trading Topstep Pro accounts from a non-Live version of Jigsaw.
  • Added support for trading Earn2Trade Gauntlets from a non-Live version of Jigsaw.
  • SPCE symbol was not available for stocks.
  • FTSE not available on Tradovate - note we use Exchange symbols, were Tradovate call it "FTSE" - actual symbol for FTSE is "Z" as in ZM20 .
  • Eurex symbols coming through as USD instead of EUR for Rithmic.
All users are advised to move to the 64 bit version. As usual, daytradr can be downloaded from the members page and Journalytix Account page.
