Practical Application of Order Flow - 2014 Edition - Part 1

We first presented the "Practical Application of Order Flow" with Topstep Trader in early 2013. This year we have split the webinar into 2 parts.

Part 1 deals with 2 major topics.

  • The liquidity/price action relationship and how liquidity pre-empts changes in price action (as well as the VIX on some markets). We look at how using just one aspect of Order Flow can help you understand why your favorite market might be "misbehaving" and at actions you can take to pre-empt and react to that.
  • Scalping. We look at why scalping might be a good place to start for a new/unprofitable trader as well as actual entry and exit points to scalp off. We look at three distinct scalp trade types - temporary value, trading into stops, liquidity vacuums.
  • We take an in depth at where stops reside and when to expect a "pop" off stops as opposed to a scenario where the market turns around more gently because traders have time to work an exit at a daily low/high.

Part 2 will deal more specifically with what to look at on the DOM/Tape at the key turning points.

As usual, for best results switch to Full Screen, Full HD mode.
